Dino Rossi has been running a non-profit that for all intents and purposes looks exactly like a gubnatorial campaign. It only lacks two things: the public disclosure requirements and financial contribution limits of a campaign.
It also may run afoul of the public disclosure commission. The Wa. St. Democratic Party filed a complaint today that says the non-profit (run by Rossi) is essentially a gubnatorial campaign and needs to be subject to contribution limits and public disclosure.
Oh one more thing….Do you really think he was named after the “dinosaur dog” in the Flintstones? Just wondering.
