A great alternative to Doc Hastings…

Last night, the Kittitas County Democrats had their picnic up in Cle Elum on a cool (yes, cool!) night along side the Yakima river.

It was great to see George Fearing out stumping in his campaign against Doc Hastings. George is starting early to make sure he gets around the whole district to meet as many people as he can before the campaign gets in full gear next year.

It’s clear that George is the kind of guy who will think for himself and not just rubber stamp the policies of the President. Sounds refreshing, doesn’t it?

He’s got a good sense of humor but more importantly he’s willing to stand up to one of the worst congressmembers in the country.

Here’s what they say about him on his website:

“George has also provided free legal representation to the disadvantaged throughout his legal career, as well as volunteering his services to numerous church and civic organizations. He says simply, “I marvel at how lucky I am to have been born in the United States. I just want to give something back to this great country of ours, to keep it the greatest nation on earth.” This commitment to reach out and give back reflect a desire to remember the message of kindness, tolerance and freedom that his parents raised him to believe in. It is a message that reaches across old political boundaries and creates new relationships based on mutual respect and cooperation,

With his extensive legal experience, knowledge of community organizations and ability to forge lasting working relationships, George Fearing is ready to fight to bring a new direction to our country and to serve the people of the 4th Congressional District with integrity and independence.”
