“Honey, I’m stuck on I-5, so I’m not voting”

Actually, I’m not sure why King and Pierce County had such low voter turnout for the 8/21 primary but I did rememember that traffic on I-5 was a mess so maybe they didn’t want to drive to the post office. According to the Secretary Of State’s office, the turnout in King County was 24.76% and the turnout in Pierce was 24.47%.

Here’s the turnout in Central Washington Counties:

Okanagan 55.34%

Chelan 49.83%

Kittitas 39.10%

Yakima 36.34%

Benton 27.36%

Franklin 21.60%
