It looks like Union Gap Mayor Aubrey Reeves lost in the primary by one vote.
According to the Yakima Herald:
” A hand recount of ballots Wednesday morning by the Yakima County Auditor’s Office showed that challengers Jim Lemon and Dan Olson, both city councilmen, will vie for the mayor’s job in the Nov. 6 general election.
Olson and Lemon collected 274 and 270 votes, respectively, in the Aug. 21 primary, while Reeves came in third with 269 votes. The vote totals did not change in Wednesday’s recount.”
