In about six weeks, all the ballots will be cast on a measure that would allow a simple majority (50% +1) to pass a school levy in Washington State.
In the last few years, there have been a number of agonizingly close school levy elections in central washington.
As our economy becomes more global, our children will need excellent educations to compete with other kids from around the globe. Now is not the time to pinch pennies on education.
