Where will Washington 10th Congressional District be?

Chris Mulick at the Tri-City Herald has a intriguing post about the chances that Washington ends up with a new Congressional District after the 2010 census.

It’s intriguing because Eastern Washington will need to take in a part of a third district for the math to work out.

Mulick speculates that the third congressional district would start to cover Skamania, Klickitat and maybe even big parts of Yakima County. It would be fascinating to see how that campaign plays out and who wins that campaign.

More importantly, it would put parts of Eastern Washington back in play for Democrats at a congressional level.
