Throwing The Bathwater Out With The Baby

Doc Hastings is at it again.

He’s trying to drive a wedge. This time, betweeen local community health clinics and the thousands of parents who can’t afford health insurance for their kids.

So, he’s blaming the Children’s Health Insurance Program bill for the threat of clinic closures in Moses Lake.

Why can’t we do both? Why can’t we cover more kids and keep the clinics open? Because we gave our congressman the choice to show leadership or play politics. Guess which one he chose?

It’s getting old, Doc. There are over 100,000 kids that would be served by expanding the children’s health program (just in your district). You were the only member of the Wa. St. Congressional Delegation to vote no and now you are trying to get points with this political play.

Show some leadership or it’s time to go.
