It looks like we’ve got a great Democratic candidate in the open seat in the 14th Legislative District.
Yakima School Board President Vickie Ybarra has announced she will file next week. Here’s her background (from the Yakima School District website):
Vickie Ybarra was appointed to fill a vacated position on the Yakima School District Board of Directors in June 2002, and won election to the board in November 2003. She has worked for Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic since 1989.
