A day in the life of a delegate.

Ever wonder what my schedule is like in Denver? Here goes:

Up between 5-6:30 am.

Delegation Breakfast at the hotel, 7-9 am. Featured speakers and updates on the convention business of the day.

Blogging, email checking, and calling friends, 9am-?

Daily events sponsored by outreach groups, corporations, etc. in downtown Denver, 10am to 2 pm.

Travel to convention center for convention session, 2pm-3pm.

Convention general session, early session including business for National Democratic Party–voice votes etc, and speeches by party leaders–mayors, congress persons, former elected officials, 3pm-7pm.

Convention “prime time”, speeches from all star Democrats like the Clintons, Schweitzer, Kerry and others, 7-9:30 pm.

After convention parties and events, 10:30-2am.

Amount of sleep: Sunday, 6 hours. Monday, 3.5 hours. Tuesday, 5.5 hours. Last night, 3.5 hours. Avg. of 4.625 hours a night.
