This seems to be the tact taken by Dino Rossi and the rest of the Republican GOP party in Washington. The Seattle Times does a story about all the distancing local candidates are doing from the word Republican.
This seems like a tough sell. Maybe we should come up with a new moniker in case we need to distance ourselves from the national brand….”The Evergreen Party” anybody.
OK, skip it. That sounds really dumb. Maybe we should just get elected, do a great job of governing and let people vote Democrat because we deserve it. I guess that’s what’s happening anyway.
