3,000 People Sign Up For Non-Existent Health Care Coverage

The waiting list for the taxpayer-subsidized Basic Health Plan has shot up by 3,000 people in two weeks, an unprecedented increase that state officials attribute to the economy. Unfortunately for insurance seekers, the plan is scheduled to be cut by 40 percent in the next two years.
