More on Priorities of Government

The recent power play by Mom, (Kathy Coffey) and the three amigos, (Rick Ensey, Bill Lover, Micah Cawley) and orchestrated by the ‘worst person in the Yakima Valley’ (Bruce Smith) has run aground and now the effort has turned to saving face.
Enter the philosophical phase of this time wasting boondoggle. The way they view these P.O.G. is this: You select your top priorities and fund them, then go on to the next then if no money is left the bottom priorities fall off. Sounds simple, don’t it? Any business person that is capable of managing themselves out of a paper bag, (which this group of 5 obviously cannot) realizes the fallacy of the above approach. The reality is that EVERYTHING is intertwined and and every policy decision affects the overall system. The trick is to have council members shed their ideological windbag theories and concentrate on making decisions that actually do benefit our quality of life.
One thing we voters can do is change this council at election time. Two current members up for re-election and whom have done virtually nothing the past 3-1/2 years are Bill Lover and Micah Cawley. Replacing them will shrink Rick Ensey even further and cause Bruce Smith to crawl back in his hole, from where he can emerge every April Fool’s day.
