The Case for Recall of Yakima City Council Member Rick Ensey

Click here for the 36 page brief filed with the court for the Friday, August 25th hearing. This brief is on behalf of the plaintiffs, Charlotte Jones and Gene Rupel. I will try and get Ensey’s brief and post it also. These are public documents and provide interesting reading to anyone interested in this case. You can be the judge!

Thanks for posting this – look forward to the Ensey response

I can’t believe I read the whole thing!
It is quite clear now why the co-conspiritors voted to provide a blank check for Ensey’s legal fees – they all rolled around in the same pile of er, mud. Disgusting, and to think that some of them are shameless enough to run for re-election and that some of our fellow citizens will actually vote for these persons of questionable character and ethical lapses. I resent my tax money being used to support this sneaky approach to disregard the law and manipulate the system.

  3. Neal says:

Well, you didn’t have to wait long, seagal. Looks like this crap is a non-starter….whose paying Ron’s legal fees????

    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  4. Drew says:

Ron’s legal fees for what? Or is that another one of your con distractions from the issue?

  5. Neal says:

He’s not appealing to the Supreme Court? WHEW…….

And Drew..the issue is..HE LOST. No distraction there.

    Get used to it, pal.

  6. Drew says:

Umm, neal, this was not filed by Ron. I know, court filings do not have pictures attached, but you’re going to have to learn to read these things without the image reference. Everybody else can, and we think you can too.

  7. Neal says:

    Ron’s toadys filed on Ron’s behalf..don’t be so stupid…

This message approved by Barack Hussein al-O’bama (he’s part Irish too)

  8. seagal says:

Neal, you are quick to insult people you don’t even know. The petitioners are finer people that you could ever hope to be. I appreciated their effort to get the issue before the voters. Too bad the email evidence was not a bit stronger in implicating Lover and Cawley since the rolling quorum was evidenced by the budget committee vote. You will never convince me the whole thing was not orchestrated and implemented by Bruce Smith. Now we have to put up with another two years of Ensey’s insolence – yuk!

  9. Neal says:

As you don’t know me either, Seagal, not sure how you can say such an insult….

What exactly have these people done for Yakima to make it a better place?

I want specific examples…not just political rhetoric.

And while your at it, what have YOU done to enrich the lives of people in Yakima?

  10. Neal says:

    “You’re”

How could I make such a grammatical faux pas?

  11. randall says:

    Neal,

These insulting one liner you have about President Obama are very childish, but what should we expect from you?

Maybe you should start looking at your family tree? Then we could come up with a one liner about you too.

    Maybe something like:
