After taking heat for seeking the endorsement of the the local chapter of Intolerance International er, the GOP, Lover the Liar cited that he seeks the endorsement of organizations and people whose ideals align with his.
Recently, ads have aired in which Lover the Liar “proudly accepts” the endorsement of gay rights activists Norm Johnson and Curtis King. Following his own logic, Lover the Liar shows his true colors (which apparently were rainbow all along) and makes a profound statement for gay rights.
Not wanting to be outdone on the surprising endorsement game, Lover the Liar does another about-face and publicly admits he is a chronic over-spender. Endorsing Timmy the Joke’s I-1033, a measure that contends that Bill Lover (among other elected officials) is on an out-of-control spending spree, Lover the Liar finally admits that while he said four years ago he would cut the city budget down to size, he has in fact failed to find a single dime in savings and wants the voters on the west side (who ultimately end up deciding these statewide measures) to make the tough decisions for him.
What else would you expect from a guy who says we need to “get rid of the unions,” except the one that he has a pension with? Or the same guy who thinks the government should be out of the health care business….except for HIS Medicare benefit.
Pro gay rights and anti-himself…is THIS the “new conservatism” we’ve been hearing about so much?…
Referring to Norm Johnson and Curtis King as gay rights activists is quite a stretch and unfair. Neither would qualify as gay rights activists but rather two elected officials who had the courage to do the right thing contrary to what would be expected of Republican politicians from Eastern Washington
