Health care passed the house despite the obstructionism and negativism of the Republican Party. And now off to the Senate where the party of NO will continue to dig their own grave. They can’t turn back now. When the voters digest the importance and absolute necessity of this legislation to move our economy forward, they will replace these ideological, frozen in the 50′s, Republicans!

The surveys or polls don’t support the republicans claim that people are opposed to reform. One congressman even had the audacity to say he was receiving 100,000 calls an hour against it which is impossible. If the republicans continue to act as the party of no, they will be less of a party in November. I look for them to orchestrate some of the dirtiest slogans ever.
I am happy the bill passed for several reasons, not the least of which the 2 kids at my school with cancer will not be denied treatment, they will not run out of benefits, and as adults, they can still get health care insurance. I am happy for my mom who will pay a little less for her prescriptions and won’t be denied coverage if her cancer ever returns. I like the idea that insurance companies’ finances must be transparent.
Much to be happy about at my house
