Steele’s Gaffe

President Obama owns the War in Afghanistan. If you had any doubt, it should have been dispelled by the words of the RNC Chairman. When Michael Steele called Afghanistan Obama’s war, he committed a serious gaffe. GOP spinmeisters and their drones have recently called the President effete and feminine, not the best description of a President prosecuting a major war.

One Response to Steele’s Gaffe

Eleanor, “effete” and “feminine” are often applied to people who are courteous, well-mannered and who do not slur others with attempts to destroy character. We have not yet moved from the cave, hair pulling and grabbing that other, more-polite guy’s portion of the kill. Is there a reason?
    1. All volunteer military?
    2. NRA?
    3. Domineering law enforcement?
    4. The Patriot Act?
    5. The “Nice guy’s never win” syndrome?
    6. Drugs?
    7. Our undiminished support of corrupt governments?
    8. The populating of the Congress by those who can afford it, in place of those who are statesmen oriented.
    9. The sleazy actions of big money and our relaxation of monitoring systems. (Remember Reagan?)
    10. Theatrical violence?
    11. Sub Sandwiches?
